The restroom of this realtor's office had seen better days. Realizing this, the owners decided it was time to hire professionals to help renew the flooring. They called Sir Grout of Greater Chester County's Paoli grout cleaning specialists to get a free evaluation and quote. They had heard from one of their clients that they did a great job in anything related to hard surface restoration, from bathroom floors to countertops.

On the day of the evaluation, the clients explained that the restroom's floor had already been color sealed about ten years ago, but foot traffic had caused substantial grime buildup. The clients asked our grout cleaning experts what they would recommend. The grout lines had accumulated grease and dirt over time, but we explained that since it had been color sealed before, removing all of the dirt buildup shouldn't be a problem. We recommended a tile and grout cleaning service and offered them an estimate. They were happy with the assessment so we set a date to do the job. Since they are usually very busy on weekdays, they asked us if we could carry out the service during a weekend, as to not disturb their daily operations, which we were happy to do.

On the day set to do the job, we started by applying our proprietary tile and grout cleaner to loosen the embedded soil and proceeded to deep clean the floor with a high-speed, gentle scrubber to remove all the dirt from tiles and grout lines. Then, a steam cleaner was used to remove the dirt in and around the most stubborn and hard to reach areas. Because this floor had previously been color sealed, removing all the grime was relatively easy. After we were done scrubbing the entire floor clean, we proceeded to buff on Tile Armor, which is another one of our proprietary products. It serves as a clear sealant, helping protect tile and grout against stains and spills. It is nontoxic and safe for the family, including pets.

Our tile and grout cleaning process provides a deep cleanse removing built-up dirt that regular cleaning cannot, leaving floors looking bright and as good as new. Our proprietary clear sealant has a double function: to protect the floor's surface against stains and spills, and make it easier to clean.

Once the clients saw the end results, they were very happy with the look of the renewed floor and thanked us for a job well done. We offered them some advice on how to take care of the area to maximize the value of our service. We explained that the floors should be vacuumed frequently to remove loose dirt and dust and prevent it from settling on the grout lines.

For a more thorough clean, we recommended a pH-neutral, soap-less floor cleaner be used and the floor should be left to soak for a couple of minutes, then mop as usual and remove any leftover dirty water or cleaner with a dry towel or terry cloth. We advise against soap-based cleaners because they leave a film residue and dull the surface's appearance.

We also stressed not to let the floor air dry because once the liquid residue evaporates, dirt will be left behind and settle on the grout.
